| Madison Heights, VA – October 5, 2025 – At approximately **4:10 PM**, the Monelison Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a vehicle striking a structure. **Squad 21** responded with a crew of four firefighters.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a pickup truck had collided with a single-wide trailer. Fortunately, there were **no injuries** to the driver of the truck or the occupants inside the structure.
Fire department personnel entered the structure and confirmed damage to the living room and bathroom areas. As a precaution, members secured electrical power to the residence and contacted the **Amherst County Building Inspector** for further evaluation.
