Monelison Volunteer Fire Department Responds to Multiple Incidents

The Monelison Volunteer Fire Department responded to nine separate incidents today. Among these were three traffic accidents, a grill fire, two brush fires, and a water line break.

The accompanying pictures show one of the brush fires. In this incident, a resident was burning brush when strong winds caused the fire to spread quickly across an open field. Attack 21, Engine 23, Tanker 21, and Chief 2 were dispatched to Stapleton Road to bring the situation under control.
