Kalab Miller

Deputy Chief

Type: Command Staff
Radio ID: 110

About Me:

My name is Kalab Miller, and I proudly serve as a Deputy Chief in the fire service. I began my career in fire and EMS in 2013, driven by a strong desire to serve my community and help others in their time of need.

I earned my EMT certification in 2016 and advanced to EMT-Intermediate in 2017, building a solid foundation in emergency medical care that continues to guide my approach to emergency response and leadership.

In addition to my role in the fire service, I work professionally in occupational safety, where I focus on protecting workers, strengthening operational practices, and promoting a culture of accountability and risk awareness. This experience allows me to bring a safety-first mindset to training, incident response, and decision-making within the department.

I believe in leading by example, supporting our members, and continuously improving our department through training, communication, and teamwork. It is an honor to serve alongside dedicated volunteers and to give back to the community that supports us.
