| On July 12 at approximately 12:45 a.m., the Monelison Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident involving a collision with a tree. Upon arrival, crews found one vehicle down a steep embankment with significant damage.
Firefighters established a basic rope system to safely access the vehicle. Once personnel reached the vehicle, the patient was safely rescued and removed from the scene. The individual sustained minor injuries and was transferred to the care of EMS.
Units involved in the incident included Engine 21, Engine 23, and Amherst County Fire and EMS Medic 2-6. Great Teamwork by all! |
