| The Monelison Volunteer Fire Department would like to remind residents that **Fall Burn Season** is now underway. The season officially began on **October 15** and will continue through **November 30**.
While this period does **not** include a complete burn ban like the one observed from February to April, **caution is still strongly advised** when conducting any outdoor burning. Dry conditions and seasonal winds can quickly turn a controlled burn into a dangerous situation.
